Sparking a transformation in your smile and life … with full-mouth reconstruction services
Full-mouth reconstruction. Full-mouth rehabilitation. Full-mouth restoration. While the names may differ, they all describe essentially the same process: Rebuilding the smile by restoring/replacing most or all of the teeth in the jaws and additional supportive tissues as needed. And few services available at Wes Park Family Dentistry are as life-changing and life-affirming to our patients, let alone as rewarding for our team in Perry, Georgia, to embark on in partnership with patients like you./e
What procedures are involved?
Every aspect of your treatment plan is customized by our talented and experienced dentist, Dr. Bryce Westmoreland, down to the specific services and procedures that may be necessary to achieve and restore your “goal” smile, as well as the materials that may be used to rebuild your teeth with the likes of dental implants. In short, no two treatment plans are alike. A combination of both cosmetic and restorative dentistry procedures can be recommended to address and resolve your one-of-a-kind needs and challenges.
Am I a candidate for full-mouth treatment or something less extensive?
The more extensive the needs, the more likely multi-step and multi-faceted treatment is on the horizon. Dr. Westmoreland has a history of successfully treating patients with complex full-mouth, who are missing many or all of their teeth due to decay or other trauma, or who have a lot of broken, decayed teeth that may still be preserved. Likewise, more extensive treatment could be required to resolve issues with the supportive tissues, diseased gums, and deteriorated bone in the jaw. Bite-related or occlusal problems can be addressed with appropriate interventions, and repairing old dental work and replacing teeth also play a big role in restoring the healthy, balanced relationship between the teeth. With a good bite restored, you may just find that you no longer suffer from headaches, earaches, or jaw pain as frequently or severely as you once did, if at all. The effects of full-mouth reconstruction are truly expansive.
How do I start the process?
When you contact us, we’ll schedule a consultation. During your visit to our Perry, Georgia office, Dr. Westmoreland closely evaluates the condition of any remaining teeth. He’ll also closely examine your gums and the rest of your mouth. Here again, the extent of your rehabilitation depends on the condition of these teeth and tissues and your overall “starting point.” From there, Dr. Westmoreland may recommend everything from root canal therapy and crowns to veneers, bridges, and implants. Given the scope of such treatment, your plan will likely be a sum of many different parts, all set in motion and focused on giving you the healthy, functional, beautiful smile you deserve.
